It would've helped if you had watched one with subtitles. They weren't trying to give her motivation; they didn't want her to sing; they wanted to sing to her "On t'aime" - "We love you" changing the lyrics from "Je t'aime" (I love you) to "On t'aime" (We love you). When the song began, someone yelled, "Chante pas, Lara!" meaning, "Don't sing, Lara!"

These fans have been accompanying Lara from concert to concert for many years! I was last in Budapest in April 2018, it was fantastic! LARA is World Star and she will forever !!

This was a coordinated effort from her fans wanting to express their "Love" for Lara during a dark period in her professional and personal life which resulted in health issues and coupled by cruel comments by the French media. She began to question her existance and contemplated suicide. I believe a commenter in another reaction to Je t'aime stated that this was her 1st live appearance in a few years. The fans and pianist knew this was going to happen. Read that some 6000+ fans were given cards with instructions on what to do. You hear a faint cry from the audience at the beginning of the song "Don't sing Lara", hence the bewildered look on her face! She had stated in interviews that at this moment in time she knew life was worth living and subsequently crawled her way back into the light. Lara sings Je t'aime (I Love You!) Fans reply On t'aime (WE Love You)

Hi, thank you for sharing this moment with us. La ra Fabian is for me the GREATEST artist in this world. We always wonder why she's not that famous in the USA. Please if you can share with us her songs : Adagio, Broken vow(she wrote that song) Caruso, Je suis malade & Yentel. i will be more than glad to hear your opinion. Thanks again for sharing this special moment with us. Best regards & take care.

Oh and btw, Lara was having issues in her personal life and wasn't feeling good so in the song "je t'aime" means i love you, and instead of singing that, the crowd sings "on t'aime" which translates to "we love you". Truly beautiful❤️

This was her first performance back after a couple of tragedies and a break up in her life that had left her questioning weather or not she wanted to continue to perform live anymore. This crowd reaction in Paris answered that !
