Here is another large abstract using acrylics, oil pastels, and spray paint! This was a commission piece with the client asking for a piece with deep turquoise and gold, here is the process! Follow me on Instagram! @ADUKE_ART

This took me me on a love/hate ride and ended in understanding and love it. Drama, elegance, sophistication.

Amazing work and show of progression. I must say I enjoyed it best at 6:58, busier and more dynamic, but not sure what the client would think. And I am a newbie to hands-on painting. Cheers!

Great stuff! I especially love watching the process - as much as the finished result.

Hi Addi, as usual, enjoyed your video very much. Your style is fantastic, I have two questions for you: 1) you painted acrylic on top of oil pastel. Will the acrylic paint peel off over time? 2) Since you have both water-based and oil-based paints, what do you use to varnish the painting? Many thanks!

Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed! 1) I'm not sure if the paint would peel off over time, none of my pieces have been around long enough to find out, but it is highly possible. Because most of my pieces involve layering and layering, should one layer peel to reveal another layer that wouldn't be a problem. 2) I've never varnished a piece other than using fixative on loose pastels, not sure what you would use!

There is no precise information that the acrylic layer comes off if placed on top of the oil layer in the case of small pieces. The acrylic layer holds each other up with the rest, which probably rests on other acrylic. It would take 100 years to find out. And we won't be here anymore.

Great piece I must say! I loved it at 3:20 and I was like Oh god, I have to have this painting. Then sprays come into scenes and I started to be sceptical (dont take it personaly, I am not fan of sprays), but the final result is amazing!! Do you know Vahe Berberian? I saw lots of his moves here in your process. Take care!

Why did you change this painting? It was awesome in its original form...I am an abstract artist and really liked the original one...the final minimalist version is OK, but you should have left the first version alone and just started a new canvas.😢
