Kim, a tip for you. Put your burger meat in a gallon freezer bag( I do a pound) and flatten it out! It saves room and unthaws within 20 minutes in a sink of cold water!

I cook my hamburger& onion up ahead and freeze it in like 1lb. ish bags. And we grill hamburger out on the grill and grill up a lot extra then freeze them them. That way when we decide to have hamburgers or taco’s or whatever your hamburger is already cooked. So simple and time saving 😀

Throw what is left of the rotisserie chicken bones and the liquid from the container into your instant pot and cover it with water. Add salt and pepper. Hit the soup button. You'll have a batch of really good homemade chicken stock. Toss in some rice or noodles and carrots and the leftover meat and big batch of fresh chicken soup. Or toss it in containers in the freezer and you've always got some stock on hand. I consider it a free meal .
@sherryhallmark81474 жыл бұрын
I save the skins of onions and the bottoms of carrots mushroom stems etc. and throw them in the freezer during the week and add that to the rotisserie carcass and water in the instant pot and it gives us a nice golden hue to your chicken stock.

Salt also works as well. You let the salt soak it up and vaccume it up. It saved our carpet when our daughter accidentally opened glitter glue over it. The rotisserie chicken only last until the next day after buying it.

For Stir Frys (Chinese) add Oyster Sauce (found in your Asian Aisle). Sometimes I'd freeze the yogurt to get Frozen Yogurt for Smoothies or to each just out of the container. For your cheese and salami tray, you could have Mini Pizzas. Have your kids decorate their own before you pop them in the oven or toaster oven. Use a Prego or other Spaghetti Sauce on the muffin, then decorate w/cheese, salami, pepporoni & olives or other veggies and meat. just a few tips i used with the items you bought.

I have to say thank you, thank you! I watched your shop with me to Costco yesterday and your throw away observation, "anyone need an office chair?" made me almost cheer. I'm in desperate need of an office chair and I was dreading the 3 hour long round trip to Ikea to maybe find something. I'd completely forgotten that Costco has office furniture and mine is 20 minutes away. I found the chair you pointed out and I got it. You talked about being out/low on chicken stock. Have you tried making your own with the rotisserie chicken bones in your pressure cooker? I do almost every time I get one. Just put the bones in fill to max capacity with water, salt, maybe some onion and celery scraps and cook for 1, 2 or more hours. Strain and freeze, or I pressure can mine. It's easier to make than it sounds....
@SaltySirenFloriduh4 жыл бұрын
I do this once a week! You can also add 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to make bone broth. Set it to high for 120 min and let it naturally release 👍🏻 best way to use all of a chicken. Works with beef and turkey bones as well.

You'll love your membership and just like Kim says if you find something that you like at Costco go back and buy several. I fell in love with some potato skins that are gluten free and now they are out until the 5th of next month. With your membership Costco will take anything back as long as there is at least 51% remaining of the product. It can be medicine and food which has helped us to try out new brands. For the clothes since there is no changing room I will buy something in 2 sizes and take back what doesn't fit. They also take back many other things and read thru the benefits as we use the Travel department and at the end of your trip you receive a Costco Cash Card.

Romaine lettuce is actually one of the healthiest lettuces you can eat 👍🏻☺️ I learnt that through a dietician / nutritionist years ago, good job too as it’s my favourite! Tell hubby to be careful with juicing, it’s good for hydration but it actually takes out all of the beneficial nutrients from the veggies, smoothies are better (lots of veggies with an apple / lemon etc!) You mentioned our tastebuds having memories, but what I find interesting is how our tastebuds change so much, what I loved as a kid I’m not keen on as an adult & vice versa lol! Thanks for the lovely video as always 🥰 xx
