Why do some people insist on being slobs, if you haul it in haul it out. I've personally witnessed people being a block from their house and throw sacks and fast food boxes out of their cars. Seems to mysteriously end up in their own yards or sometimes blows back into their car. We used to have a police chief that might cut some slack on traffic violations if not too drastic but had zero tolerance on littering, fines or community service, sometimes both. Leave no trace means leaving nothing but foot prints.

I was, sometimes, the last one to pack up and leave on a Sunday night. Nobody left as much as a gum wrapper behind, because we loved the unique site so much. Then, the state Fish, Wildlife, and Parks swooped in, claiming the site was over-crowded, and reduced the available camping sites to 18... basically, ruining it for many windsurfers that came from all over the state to grab some wind.

They need to use ticket or reservations system with responsible visitors. Most people are unaware of no trace left behind.

Only ticket system they need is already in place it’s called Don’t Mess With Texas. Law has been on the books for decades, $500 fine first littering offense, $2000 and or jail time for repeat offenders.

Most of the people leaving trash behind, are the ones crying about pollution, etc.. This happens at huge events/concerts too, filled with people who are out there crying about global warming etc... When they leave it looks like a million dumpsters exploded

What the hell is wrong with my Hispanic counterparts. For the love of God respect the park and don’t give us a bad rep.

Gee, a people that kill each other by the bushel and have zero concern for the consequences of their actions, litter? I’m shocked.

Over the weekend I was cruising on my local lake and seen several beer cans floating on the water. It's not that hard to bring a trash bag with you from home.

I do not understand why people leave trash. Please explain why people do that. Seriously!

They are lazy and selfish. They expect others to clean up after them. Spoiled. They need to be fined.

People behave like they’re never coming back. How much trouble would it be to bring a garbage bag and fill it before they leave?
@henrywit6147 Жыл бұрын
This is happening all over, and has everything to do with those who don't believe in (or have never been exposed to) American values. Concern for others first, leaving a place better than you found it, and so on. Common sense in polite society, and yet foreign concepts to so many.

Foreign concepts to foreign aliens who aren’t brought up with any kind of Mother Earth respect.

This is so unfortunate. Parents tell your kids to put your garbage in your pocket. GIVE A HOOT,AND DON’T POLUTE. This doesn’t happen in Ontario.
@selmaalva90312 жыл бұрын
If all fails if they don’t respect your demands, start charging them parking & entry fees. If this still doesn’t work, allocate destination spots with tagging their license plates just in case of vandalism and/or non compliance to to trash pick. I know this may not seem fair to others who have complied but something has to be enforced.

Where is Canyon Lake? If you are going to place a newsclip on KZbin, the least you can do is but the location of the story in the title. Just pure laziness.

at Biker rallies they fine you and pay on the spot, with cash. you get a nice receipt though. sounds like a good plan. 300 dollar fine for 5 or 10 minutes of work

Sorry everyone!! It’s more than like because Medina Lake is almost dry it’s at 13% maybe lower now but might be the reason so many people at Canyon Lake,but doesn’t excuse them for not picking up the trash they use..
