So very impressive you are Janice! Like a really well-run, highly functional piece of machinery or production line. Not to minimize the loving family that demonstrates the above observation. What is so obvious to me are the talents of those at the helm. Janice, with Shawns' support and lots of love for all involved, have shown, with everyone's participation within the family unit, how things can be accomplished in an organized fashion. ❤️Loved this DITL video! I was especially happy to see your white dog!! I adore dogs. Can’t rem how to spell the breed but I do know it. Going to check out the correct spelling after I finish commenting. 😊 The corn looks so good! My favorite way to have corn is on the cob or corn casserole. I have to admit corn is my least favorite garden veggie to put up because of the shucking and such. It always seems to be such a mess. We always did ours out in the back yard. It didn’t look like y’all were having any problems….I love your organizational skills. I have none. With a family the size yours there would be no other way. Let me repeat how much joy and calmness I find from your family. These videos are a true blessing to me. I’m alone 99% of the time and mostly bed-bound. I have to figure out a better way to fit in all the homesteading, homeschooling, cooking, cleaning, AND KZbin stuff in each day!

Wow such a busy day. However with all the help it sure does go fast "many hands make light work" Just a suggestion and in no means disrespectful, when you have low blood siugar/wt issues, I was told ( licensed dietician) to never eat from a container. Measure out your snack portions of nuts and berries and drink more water. It helped me realize how much I was really consuming in extra calories. I added in 10,000 steps and lost 64 pounds over 10 months. No more blood sugar problems!!!! Love your channel and family. Good old fashioned family farm life.

She added a few more sunflowers to the bouquet this morning, too! The plants are so huge and some of the side stems (offshoots..not sure what to call them?) are breaking off. Anyhow, it gives us a reason to harvest some of the pretty blossoms for some beauty inside the house. :)

i do not shuck my corn.. i just set the boxes in the freezer... take out what i need for supper... no freezer burn .... been doing this for over 20 years.... just hold over running water in sink and the hair and all will just slide off....
