I am so excited to share this video with you guys today! I'm sharing our brand new large family homeschool room set up! It is beautiful and practical....you can't ask for much more! I'm going to break down how I made these IKEA desks for cheap....super cheap! I love it so much! I hope you do too! I hope you enjoy!

Such an awesome idea! I love how you always focus on staying on a budget. I feel like sometimes people present these beautiful elaborate homeschool rooms without remembering that there’s a lot of us homeschool moms trying to homeschool on a budget with one income. We were blessed to have a homeschool room in our last house, but now that we have four kids, we don’t have a separate dining room or spare bedroom that we can give up to be our school room. While we often school around the kitchen table, I came up with a solution for those days we want to school in our living room or the weather is nice and we want to school in our sunroom. We have two adjustable 4 foot tables from lifetime. They work incredibly well with the lifetime children’s chairs, but they also grow with your kids to be regular table height and barstool height. I got them each when they were about $50-$60 a piece, but I felt justified knowing we can use them for holidays or family parties, etc. What’s great is we can have a “school room” (aka the corner of our living room) when we want to, but on the weekends, our living room can be just a living room (we fold down the tables & store them behind our couch when not using them). Also, this is a great solution if you’re finding you have to clear your kitchen table midday in order to eat lunch. This way we can leave our books where they are, eat lunch, and then go back to doing our school work. Plus, we can have almost any arrangement we want: two separate desks, one large square, or an L shape similar to what you showed here.
