I have 8 children. I swear every day I go through the same thing! Get the kitchen cleaned, just to find the living room trashed. Get that cleaned (again) and find a bedroom destroyed or the bathroom flooded, and then walk back to the kitchen and find that trashed again. 🤦🏻‍♀️It’s never ending. And laundry...🤯

We are a "big van family" 😁. We use the leaf blower to clean out all the crumbs and kid fodder. Pretty sure our neighbors are laughing at us, but it works so well!

Oh that's awesome! My mom tried that in her living room to get the dog hair off and from under her couch... she said it worked great too! LOL!

I’m so glad you guys hade a Christmas break with Nathan, we love our break with my husband and it started yesterday but he has to go into work to install classroom technology next week (he is an AV engineer at a university nearby). It’s so nice for mama to have extra help, kids spend time with dad and for him to have a break as well. Happy Vlogmas and Merry Christmas!

We officially started our Christmas Break Thursday of last week. Like you, we do a little bit throughout the break though. I have her do at least one page of Math and English per day (she won't have to do this Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day). She also reads a few days per week as well. I have just found that doing our homeschool like this keeps her from forgetting how to do new concepts in math and English over that 2-3 week period. We also do a lighter schedule beginning after Thanksgiving. As far as the van goes, we only have one who still rides with us, and it seems our vehicle is always a mess. My husband and I share a vehicle so he also works out of it (drywall contractor) so finding time to clean it is hard sometimes.

Man we did one vehicle before... it’s worth it in the end. But some days were hard. lol! Yes we have done as much school as I’d hoped in our break... sigh...

We have 5 kids 4 eat eggs and we cook at least a 18 pack or more if we have scrambled eggs or something! Luckily we have Laying Hens! So we get 25+ eggs a day!

That’s a lot of eggs! If we do scrambled eggs, 6 kids will eat them and it’s a dozen eggs. Lol! Sometimes they ask for them. I guess it depends on the mood around here! 🤣

Oh trust me... we have our fair share of sibling squabbles... so one big thing that we do... is whoever the offendee is... (who ever did the picking or the hitting etc...) They do the other kids chores. This works great! Another thing is we have them sit and face each other and tell them 3 things that they like about that sibling.

Seriously, in the moment when your kids are hungry and you need peace, just feeding them in the car is so much easier. But the clean out!!😣

I feel you! We can just clean the car out and within a few days it’s full of trash again! I’m like seriously! I can never get laundry done! I can get it washed and dried but folding and putting away is the worst part. I can’t never match the socks and my washcloths are gone. Idk where everything goes. So I feel ya sister! 😂
