Large Juniper Bonsai - Dug Out Of A Front Lawn

Removed this from someone’s lawn a few years ago and it’s finally ready for its first styling. I’ve realized that certain trees are why I’m calling threshold trees in that styling them or working them requires the practitioner go to the next level in their practice. These trees intimidate me before I work on them. Currently i have three more trees that fit into this category. So crucial to continue to find and work on the bonsai trees that are intimidating. It`s a realy nice styling🤩👍. But im thinking too about the lower branch and think that if it don`t looks right or if it`s starting to die back because in thevideo it realy looks a bit yellow you can Try to make a longer deadwood out of it, so it gives the tree the look that there is a branch lower than the others but at the other way it is looking good too if you just take it off. Or mybe it will get now enough light after you styled the tree and it will get new Groth.I think you will make a choice that is good but the tree looks realy cool 👍👍

Thanks for the thought comment. I agree. If it comes back with growth I can use it for a depth branch and keep compacting and bringing closer to the trunk. A piece that made me want to keep it in the first place was that I’m not sure if it has its own live vein and it may have good live/deadwood interaction on the branch.
