Rebecca and Megan are two of the most articulate musicians to be interviewed. Their music is even better. Jacomo talked about no substitute for practicing your craft endlessly. Larkin Poe have paid their dues but obviously spend major time practicing. They are very articulate with the structure of music and their songs reflect a lot of those not so visible attributes, tricks, phrases, and elements. I don't know that I would rate them as knowledgeable about the blues as Clapton or Billy Gibbons but there' very impressive with their study of the blues and roots music. I'm glad to see concepts like Nu Deco bridge gaps between music genres and open doors to musicians who would otherwise be obscured. Grace not only lead a great interview but she had very well thought out questions and challenges. Not just the usual fluff questions. Had to smile when asked about the warmup before the show. In a previous interview, Rebecca responded stone faced they sacrifice rabbits and totally floored the interviewer. Yes, she has a warped sense of humor.

Got this concert on Vinyl. It's a very special collaboration. Larkin Poe is a band worth following. They keep getting better with every musical effort and recording. They're always very kind and appreciative of they're fans.
