Larone you're the absolute best if not merely for the fact that you haven't turned into one of these generic KZbin uploaders who try to make themselves the centerpiece of every video. You showcase the great fight build-ups and let the footage speak for itself instead of doing the talking head thing like we need to see some guy telling us what we can just watch and experience first hand through the videos. Too many nasaly voiced zoomers showing their face and trying to act like we're tuning in to see them when really we just want to see great MMA content. No talk and just content is an amazing experience, Larone is pfp #1 MMA channel by far😉

Gilbert then saying a win would get him closer to the title shot, being ranked number 2 at the time, then having to fight and win 2 more times after, and STILL no title shot.

because nobody gives a shit to see burns get knocked out again and then have him cry like a bltch. people want to see khamzat, also burns is from blackzillians or stanford whatever heavy juicers over there. Khamzat unironically destroyed his career already in some way. He makes weight vs Nate, he already has a claim to tittle shot after beating Burns, but now he would get normie fan recognition. Then, after Leon would win a rematch vs Usman, he has a easy match up for a welterweight tittle. I asume weight cut would be too much, so he has to move up instantly and then fight Alex Pereira/Adesanya, who are good match ups as well for him. Only for him to fuck up weight and now he has extremely dangerous match up vs Costa and Izzy getting time to get even better takedown defense.

I just find it so weird the judges always somehow favor the up and coming stars the ufc is trying to build. A loss would hurt there stock/selling power and the judges always make sure the right person “wins”. I’m talking about the paddy and suga Sean fights but my point is if they won those fights then there was a 0% chance they’d have khamzat losing a fight that was one of the closest fights of all time. I thought burns barely won but I knew he wouldn’t win a decision. You’d think one of the closest fights ever would be a split but nope not even one judge would go against one of the UFC’s new stars.

UFC looks to be targeting Costa vs Khamzat. I really hope this fight happens and gets put on the June 10th UFC 289 card. That card's headline is Nunes vs Pena 3 which absolutely no one has asked for and no one wants to see. Pena got 50-44'd and Nunes' excuse of covid in their first fight looks accurate given the last fight's display. If we could somehow get Khamzat vs Costa and Gaethje vs Poirier on that undercard, that PPV is saved. It's so weird that the headline is especially weak when this is their return to Canada. Otherwise only the men's flyweight and the lightweight belts could even be considered around that time as all other divisions in the UFC have booked dates for their champions or just fought too recently. Don't see the lightweight strap getting added because Islam looks to be waiting for the winner of Oliveira and Dariush. So we may end up getting nothing or just the Moreno v. Pantoja fight which isn't that exciting at the moment.
@NeoAndersonChannel1 Жыл бұрын
@@jack-yi1sy My theory is that, similar to how they have fighters of certain regions booked for an event in that region, since Vancouver is heavily steeped in the LGBTQ politics, they're choosing an LGBTQ fighter (Nunes) to headline the card. That's the only logical reasoning I can come up with to counter the probable reality that they're just off-loading a weak card for their return to Canada.
@NeoAndersonChannel1 Жыл бұрын
@@jack-yi1sy Also, now since the WWE/Endeavour deal, first business of crossover business is Endeavour needs to take one of The Rock's soundbites (or better yet, hire him for live events/cameo) of him saying "Finally, The ____ has come back to [Location] So we can have "Finally, The UFC has COME BACK to Van-cou-ver/CANADA!!" The pop from each crowd in each respective city would be fucking intense. It'd be like when Buffer says "it's time for the main event" and everyone loses their shit, but earlier in the night.

I don’t have a dog in the fight but I think these Russian boys are on to something we see time and time again that combat sambo reign supreme over jiu jitsu black belts khabib over poirier, Islam over olivera who was one of the most dangerous fighters in the ufc and was expected to win but got dominated and this burns falls to chimaev. Or it’s the pharmaceutical grooming with “vitamins and supplements” they’ve been given since they were kids it’s up in the air 😆
