Nate was always my favorite ufc fighter. I watched him win TUF and followed him all throughout his career. Always a great fight when he was involved but he always fell short in terms of getting to that belt. I remember watching him call out Connor live after the clinic he put on Michael Johnson and was thinking that this was going to be the perfect opponent for Connor. I knew trash talk didn’t work on Nate, cardio is one of his strongest attributes, and his durability was off the charts. I knew it would be a good interesting fight if it ever happen. Then it all actually came together. What I loved most about the whole thing was how much recognition Nate was finally getting after all these years. From being somewhat obscure to very well known especially after defeating Connor. Respect to both fighters.

Nah i get what you mean that’s why I love the Diaz Brothers they’re very relatable if you got a close brother or cousin that likes to fight.

2:45 McGregor getting excited when Nate said "we're gonna fight" but we all know when the fight was actually brought to him he hated it and wanted out as fast as he could

Props to Nate. You gotta admit, if it was anyone else eating all those shots they would have been down! Nate is a zombie and I'm a McGregor fan.

Pretty sure in both fights nate got the shit kicked out of him even if he won one Of them. Connor wrecked his face in one of them I forget which

I remember watching this live and actually laughing out loud when Conor shot on Diaz. Like what the hell did he think he was gonna do there? Diaz is a problem for nearly anybody on the ground. He'd have been better off trying to last on the feet. At least he wouldn't have fed Nate the "Oh you're a wrestler now?" line.

Joe was right when he said the "Conor McGregor era will be looked back on as something truly special." 2013-2016 was the best. There was a joy about him as he went about his business.

The reason why most the UFC is scared of Nate Diaz is because you can't hardly put him out. And the harder you try the more tired you get. The longer the fight goes on the further into Nathan Diaz territory you get. The more likely you are to get trapped .caught in a submission, or get touched up. He literally has one soft spot. The scar tissue above his eye. That he got from eating every punch from everyone that threw them. He thrives on it. And every punch you throw and land that DOESN'T knock him out ultimately plays into his end game. Which is to discourage and tire you untill you slip up and end up tapping on him to keep from getting put to sleep or a limb ripped off.

I wish so badly that Nate would choose to go back to 155! He was on such a roll and was looking so good and just out striking and looking so good at 155 before the Conor fight. I mean go back and watch his Cerrone, Gomi, and Michael Johnson fight before the Conor fight and you'll see why I wish we could see 155 Nate back in action. I feel if he would've fought Conor at 155, or after the 2 fights went back to 155, he'd still be a top 5 fighter!
