Its kind of crazy that thats the generation that made all the unique and beloved stuff, and not later when the studio hade their pick from any artist all over the world that they wanted. Probably the culture and atmosphere at the studio at the time had a lot to do with it as well, not just that they were all very talented as individual artists (even though thats a given of course).

Love this guy! It mustve been quite a free schedule on that game, from the sounds of it he took it on himself to make every animation quite elaborate. All those nice little touches...Just the whole thing with getting the mummy out the window mustve taken quite a lot of time...myabe he just worked crazy overtime... Great that they were so free though, thats were the magic comes from for sure.
