I had the honor to work indirectly (sometimes more directly) with these three exceptional musicians during the 90s at LEC & TG. A real highlight of that era was creating cinematics for a number of games and inevitably one of these guys would work their magic and send me an incredible score or edit that instantly tripled the quality of my animations! I grew up with Lucasarts games from the early 90's and the music has always been what stuck out to me the most. To this day I'll still play the soundtracks for Outlaws, X-wing, Tie Fighter, and Dark Forces while I work. This interview is such a treasure, thank you for producing it! One of the biggest take-aways for me was how genuinely kind Clint Bajakian was, and I thought it was really cool how he asked you questions at the end.

Thank you! Yes, Clint was just so friendly and helpful throughout the whole process - helping me contact other members of the team, answering my questions, etc. And I could really tell he is just a genuinely nice person that loves what he does. Very kind of him to show interest in me at the end there; that's a memory I will hold dear.

This was great, very meaty interview! Good times….The thing about not just supporting the established atmosphere but adding whole new elements that only music can do, thats great advice. I would love to know how you were able to line up an interview with Michael Land. He is one of the most brilliant and underrated videogame soundtrack composers. His work on The Dig has stuck with me since the game was originally released. And for all his immense contributions he is a complete ghost on the internet. This is amazing and I genuinely thank you for putting this together.

That's all thanks to Clint really. I tried contacting Michael a couple of years back for my Monkey Island documentary, but had no luck, but this time Clint contacted him for me and arranged it. Very grateful for that, and he was just super nice and helpful in general.

Thanks for this incredible video. I really grew up with the LucasArts adventures, and their soundtrack was one of the most important components. I've tried to get as much of the songs as downloadable files as possible, and listen to them very often. From Monkey Island 1 over games like Outlaws and Grim Fandango, up to the new Return to Monkey Island :-)
