After the first 2 games it was laughable that the Knicks would come back and win...I grew up a huge Celtics fan but lived in NY and this series ruined my life 😆...through the injuries and everything else the last 3 seasons still got some great memories and great games out of Bird

Larry taking the team into the post season late in his career and still putting up monster numbers with bum ankles and what had sadly become his 'signature' back issues. Fortunately these injuries did almost nothing to hinder Bird's basketball brilliance, still passing with accuracy and foresight, rebounding with his superior anticipation, and of course scorching the net with that high arcing jumper. One of the most extreme things in sports - is when thinking about just how badly those Celtic teams would blow out any modern (last 10 years) team. It would be by a margin that is ...obscene. Most people wouldnt even believe it. If i tried to explain it to em they would think (or atleast say) that i was crazy. ~~ So it would have to be done ,somehow, for many folks to even believe it.
