Bird was always in the ZoNe ! Nice music to edit by & to share. I can see you gittin' into the whole deal....lol, merging Bird's wild style w/ his mates, editing it in a timely manner, and your true enthusiasm as I watch you watching Bird FLY ! Kudos man, young dudes do not normally know about this Man..... He'd be telling teams that he felt insulted b/c they put a white guy to cover him & that's funny as sH!Te to hear. And then he'd tell the other squad exactly how he was gonna score & He DiD IT ! A rare "BIRD" is what that man is..... He made it fun but perhaps his best weapon was his mental prowess ~ mental game is key b/c it's what gives you the ability to finish up after you sprained an ankle or to overcome any of many things that cause some to lose. His head was in the game - you can't flip behind the back or over your head backwards when you can't see the guy. Those passes/assists stand on their own. He was mentally aware of everything & trash talking ain't bad if you make the shots. Sorry bout my multiple posts ~ I digg how you delivered on this video, I've seen a few & I like yours best. peace

He was unpredictable, clutch, scrappy, unselfish, quick witted, a sharp shooter, hard to defend, fun to watch he played with heart. His team developed into an elite passing machine. And he was passing like this in high school. His greatest passes (re-edit) has quite a few of the ones in this one, but many more. He led his team by example.

Bird's bag was so deep he put the whole NBA in it. Not only is he the best all around basketball player of all time but hes also a perfect role model. Worked hard, only care about winning, personal achievements didnt mean anything, and losing deeply affected him. Hes also the best trash talker of all time. Another video you should check out "Larry Bird Stories that prove hes the best trash talker"

It's not that personal stats/achievements didn't mean anything, it's more that he used them kinda as stepping stones on his way to the W. He would do things like find out the scoring record in a particular arena and then beat it, because he wanted that challenge.

Love it! You're the first I've seen that didn't complain about the music in this one!! 😊❤ There literally was not a shot or a pass or a steal for that matter that Larry couldn't make. And if you didn't notice, he did both with both his right or left hand. That was another thing that made him impossible to guard.... You definitely need to check out next... Larry Bird Greatest Passer ( re-edit with new footage)

I am 66 and saw Larry play 8 times. It wasn't just a game it was an experience. I thank my stepfather for being a Celtic fan and introducing me to the NBA. I don"t watch any more. Todays game is soft and boring. Glad I was able to witness history in person. Larry is my Goat and also more important is that he is LARRY THE LEGEND!!!!

Watched nearly every Celtics game in the first half of his career. He did something amazing at least once every night. Some games he didn't have his shot going but was still grinding and would end up with 18 rebounds and 12 assists because all he cared about was winning.

Larry always knew what he was going to do with the ball before it was in his hands and would catch everyone off guard with his immediate split second decisions. He was not only a great scorer, but also a great rebounder and passer. He averaged about 24.6 pts/ 10.2 rebounds/ 6.6 assists per game for his career. Won 3 consecutive MVPS, 3 consecutive 3 pt. Contests and 3 Championships.

The year that Larry came into the league which is 1979 was the first year of the three-point shot, so in college he never practiced it. Danny became one of the biggest sharpshooters from outside that anyone's ever seen. He won the firsrt 3 Three-Point contest at the All-Star game

I think it was Paul George and Baron Davis said if Lukas slow ass can do what he does Birds quicker and faster than Luka and he’s better he absolutely can play in today’s era. Bird is the only player in NBA history to average at least 24 points 10 rebounds and 6 assists for his career. The only one. Bird is the greatest all round player ever. The only non center to win 3 consecutive league MVPs wilt and Russell are the other 2 to win 3 straight. From 1980-1989 Bird won 67% of the MVP vote for the decade. I could go on and on.

Larry was the greatest passer and trash talker. Also, the 3 point line didn;t com in basketball until Larry's rookie season in the NBA till his rookie season and yet he won the 3 point contest 3 seasons in a row. Another player also won the 3 point contest 3x's in a row in the early 90's. They are tied for the most wins with 3.

Larry basically had a perpetual green light from all of his coaches in college and in the NBA to go out and just do what he does. There was no improving on Larry's instincts for the game. He just always made the right decisions for his team. He could do anything he wanted on the court and he could do everything at an elite level. He may have had the largest and most diverse array of skills of any player ever.

This is probably the most comprehensive group of clips on Bird that I've seen, so you got a good measure of his skills. I hope you noticed something though, that the BS about him being unathletic is a crock of dookie. I'm not saying he was as fast and nimble and as explosive as folks like Jordan or Wilkins, but to say the man was unathletic is just wrong when you look at these clips. In his prime he was out there posterizing the best defenders in the league or otherwise making them look silly.

10 years stretch every night. If Bias drafted begun instead of ended in 1985, Bird's would hoisted atleast 2- 3 more NBA Championship Trophies and LeBron/Bird Greatest talk would be different as Lakers, Piston and Bull from1987 to 1992 missed a force from and Bird could of slowed down as his last 4 years was pushing a Divisional pace and effort was not possible especially when Williams passed with a heart ailments old age and making playoff became a ordeal until Pierce got Rondo, Garnett and Jesus Shuttleworth but his exit to Miami turned scales south until last year as Boston builds winners and great GMs and Coaches
