When you look at the weakest part of a players game you need to think about how weak ot is it compared to other players not just of todays game but in the players of the past. Technically, you really can't have a G.O.A.T. in TEAM sports. The entire Team contributes to the success of that particular team. Russell didn't play by himself. He was primarily known for his defensive play, not his offense. He was an integral part of A TEAM. Offensively, in the NBA, there could be named G.O.A.T.s, like Bird said, from every era. Nobody could come close to match Wilt's offensive prowess of the sixties. The seventies had their special players. The eighties we know of Magic, Bird, Jordan. Then, Kobe, LeBron, Curry. So many truly great players. To name just one player above the others is to do a disservice to the many other good players on the same teams as those players who contributed to the overall success of those teams.
