Larry went to lie down because he couldn't sit down. His back was broken years before and he was in that much pain, playing at that level. Legend was tough as nails.

When he said Larry was slappin' him on the butt he meant with the ball, not his hand - Larry would pull a fake and while getting around them to take a shot he'd touch em on the butt with the ball, the ultimate disrespect--lolol

You should look into some videos of LB growing up. He had a very difficult upbringing. His father was rough man and they were dirt poor. Then it will make more sense of why LB become tough as nails.

Larry First Hurt His Back In 1985. That Was A 2nd Practice Game The College Kids Playing Against The 1992-Dream Team. Larry Was Having To Lay Down On The Sidelines A Lot In His Last Couple Of Years Playing. In Fact Right After The 1992 Dream Team Playing He Did Retire That Year Also Because Of His Back.

I'm thinking he missed that 3-pointer on purpose to make the point that he could miss that and stay in the game, but the rookie, if he made that shot and air-balled it, he would probably get benched.

The question that the guy in the video asked at the end was "who is the best trash talker in the NBA NOW?".

Bird had to lay down on the floor because he couldn't sit because of a severely injured back.

I'M just going to say... any sport from back in the day was better than today's sports... If you know you know. and in 1992.. Larry couldn't sit down.. back problems.. but he still was there schooling rookies

He sorballed it on purpose Sometimes if he. Was tired of a lackluster defender he would say something like I am tired of this and turn the ball over on purpose. He wanted competition

I grew up watching the NBA in the early to late 1980s but only recently learned Larry Bird talked trash. Kids today don't know the struggle of having like 5 NBA games on at the same time and the games you didn't watch disappeared forever. I was a Houston Rockets fan growing up and hated Larry Bird because if it was a close game Larry Bird would find a way to win.

You're very young and have MUCH to learn about people. Dude, LOSE your ideas about how someone "looks". Some of the "toughest looking" guys can turn out to be NOT very tough after all. And some of the guys who look like nice guys, or easy targets, can light you up big time in ways you're not expecting!

he never ruined a rookies career as all the coaches knew what Larry bird was about and none of their player's could do any better against him.
