It's amazing how Larry David's style of humor shows through in Seinfeld. Watching him here, I definitely recognize the self-deprecation of George and the mock outrage of Jerry. Jason Alexander definitely modeled George after Larry, that little eyebrow thing at 4:56, and that kind of half-nod at 4:42.

When I had HBO I always got pissed when Curve was on. We had HBO for movies and didn't give many of the original shows a chance. We got rid of it and only a few months back I was at a buddys house and he was watching Curve your enthusiasm. I couldn't stop laughing. After that episode he had the previous week so we watched it. Gawd, I hadn't laughed so much. To my surprise he gave me the entire seasons 2 and 3 and my wife and I are now proud new fans of the show.

My grandmother had a Western-styled house that was LOADED with fake fruit, and apparently when I was a toddler I did indeed try to eat a fake carrot. My sister, obsessed with '70s things, took most of the fake fruit when my grandmother died.
