Larry definitely has more fun with Curb...it's still going on after 10 seasons (in 20 years lol). Meanwhile, he bailed on Seinfeld after 7 seasons, at the height of its popularity. He wasn't enjoying it anymore.

I think curb is probably much more casual and easier to make than seinfeld because most of it is just improv each episode just had a loose story and scenes while seinfeld was completely scripted with a team of writers

I like the notion of being a fan of your hometown teams regardless of the tribal, parochial nature of sports. To me the idea of supporting the Mets, for example, when they're playing any other team but the Yankees, is not 'fraudulent'. To be clear, _I_ can't and don't do that. But it's fine for Larry or anyone else to. On another note, one of my favourite Seinfeld moments is an outtake, of all things. When Larry is voicing Steinbrenner and his secretary calls out, "Mr Steinbrenner?" and Larry responds, "I think so." before losing his shit.

@@Mrbink01 Just because it's made him money doesn't mean he can't hate the tediousness of it. In fact, Larry seems exactly the kind of guy who'd hate something so repetitive. In one of his interviews he said how he was so sick of doing the play after the third time of doing it. It's totally in line with his personality. Money may be the reason he puts up with it but that doesn't mean he enjoys it.
