You know... it just doesn't matter what he did in his personal life... it's his music that endures... He was a rare commodity and I doubt he'll ever be equaled. Like many others, I grew up with Johnny Cash's music running like the soundtrack of my life and it stll does. RIP Johnny - gone, but never forgotten.

Humble, genuinely funny, fantastically talented. We really did lose one of the greats.

Yes I cried for days when I heard about Johnny cash passing away. Having met him I was very glad I did in the days I met him and June carter.

So surprising when he said he didn't like his I Walk The Line record when he heard it on the radio, and then it goes to #1.

Some of the biggest "stars" in the world are not deserving of their fame because they lack something very important that Johnny Cash has infinitely: humility.

Smokey Factory Blues is the most underrated Johnny Cash recording in my humble opinion.

hanghang71 When in the Air Force, he had a kind of hump (Idk how to call it exactly), and it got to be removed because it may contain something what was bad for his health, so that's how he got it. In the beginning of his career he'd always like to say he came in a fight

So do I! Closest I'll ever get to Cash is shaking Kris Kristoffersons hand a few years back.

I was fortunate to meet Johnny cash 3 x. He was always very kind and sweet, even when my sister threw me at him. Lol. He just opened his arms and saved me from a nasty fall. Got an autograph and a picture with him. RIP Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. She was sweet two. I'll never forget those times.🙄🇨🇦
