Very very very few singers have control like Larry Stewart. He worked every note/vibrato as if he was in the studio with the Studer rolling. Completely amazing voice.

That is exactly what I have noticed watching him live over the years. EVERY note matters to him! And it seems his voice just keeps improving as he ages!

@@GalloDelCielo You are certainly free to beleive what you want, but Ive seen him live in recent years, many times, and he can and does, deliver that song the same as you just heard night after night when on the road. Larry is one of those rare singers who genuinely tries to make his songs sound like the original recording.

I started singing country after 20 years of pop....these guys are pretty much why.....This song was my favorite to perform....to get the sound of the lead guitar, I used an octave divider, and played 1 above and one below the fundamental pitch (no fundamental pitch...sounded like a big fat 'ol 12 string......anyway, last year, I got throat cancer (not from smoking) and now all I can do is listen to all these great songs and cry....these guys are the real deal....best country pop band ever....if I could change just one thing back to how it was before...it would be to be able to sing their tunes...sappy, ya, I know, but singing was my gift, and now it's gone
