An Alternative Way to Hit the 100 Yard Wedge Shot for More Consistency

To all your viewers... I put Larry’s swing techniques into use over the last year and a half. A bunch of practice and exaggerated movements along with the wedge system improved my handicap 8 strokes. EIGHT!!! I went from 19 to 11. His technique succeeds if YOU put in the work.

I discovered this during the season, just applying the wedge system you taught me to my PW, it pretty much nails 100 yards spot on. I find I am able to land it in birdie range more consistently this way. It really works! Now I just have to sink those putts, lol.

Are you using the bounce and hitting slightly behind the ball here or are you hitting the ball first?

For me half shots are trickier than full shots. Same way I prefer a bunker shot where I can swing w a full swing vs a quarter or half shot from the rough around the green.

I love this system but find my waist to waist PW rolls out too long (110-120). I’ve added a 50’ wedge to get a better descent angle.

middle ball, pretty narrow since its a smaller swing is a good place to start =)
