@nevrsleep117 күн бұрын
I gave up on ever seeing metallica perform live again, it’s always a huge disappointment. Last time, I spent hundreds of dollars to watch them potter around on stage while assuring us they were indeed metallica, and then took impromptu “twitter requests” for their next song, a process which was extremely tedious and time consuming for such a mundane activity. Then they finally decided And Justice For All won the vote for next song and they proceeded to play the song so terribly that they had to start over - FOUR TIMES IN A ROW. Why? Because Lars insisted on counting them in straight to the distorted guitar parts, throwing everyone off. Even when they finally managed to reach the pre-verse, Lars couldn’t stay on time and nobody knew where they were in the song anymore, and they eventually just GAVE UP on playing THEIR OWN title track song from one of the greatest albums of all time. They moved on to butcher the next song, I didn’t bother staying for it and will never put myself through that bullshit again. It’s really jarring to see my heroes literally fumble onstage and sound like a high school talent show act. I choose to remember them for their studio work - up until post Reload that is, nearly everything after that is trash.

Can drums be autotuned?
@UdumbaraMusic21 күн бұрын
Technically yes although each drum piece would need to be recorded and processed individually and it would probably sound terrible in the context of this band's music. Would give it an 'industrial' digital feel. Which might be kinda cool, come to think of it. Either way it's better to just tune your drums manually for a cleaner sound. Or do you mean like one of those autotuners you get on guitar heads?
