He’s the reason I became a professional drummer. Hands down my biggest inspiration and a fantastic drummer! So glad he (and Metallica) are still playing over 40 years later. 🤘

@@dman420420 This. I rewatched Cunning Stunts not long ago and it's on a par wth that quite frankly. Plus if you listen to some Justice/black era soundboards - they were never THAT tight. The live DVDs were probably edited. And _THIS_ is what they've always sounded like...

Lars Ulrich is using triggers on his drum set that’s why it sounds that fast and consistent. He could hit the kick drum time and it’ll repeat non stop. You can see he that he has them.

Oh my... No, Lars isn't using triggers to shoot samples, the sound engineer uses them to trigger noisegates, look it up. And no, triggers don't play for you like that. Lars has one of the less processed live sounds there are. Recordings are different but it's not him doing the sound... Look things up before telling nonsense man 🙏

Lars is a basic tempo drummer at best. Single kick hits and waaaay to many snare fills. Hes lucky he knew James Hetfield or he wouldnt be were he is today 💯
