Mr Dougo Porpoising. Up and down while cutting grade is called Porpoising. It means slow down. Sometimes contractors weld an extra piece of metal over that rear scraper ram to protect from that dilemma Great video,

Most of the time they run a ripper over the soil to prevent just what happened Duggo and it makes spreading much better also.

My father always did tillage then used the scraper to clean ditches. He had 15 years construction experience before farming. It is so dry this year the ground is as hard as a rock. That does not help.

Dougo had me laughing, because he starts talking a little faster and more intensely when thing's are going south, and then when he's standing by himself saying Amy so many time's, i knew he had a lot going through his mind. Amy cracked me up when Dougo told her she had some mud to clean out, and she's looking at her clothes for a second, and says she can't help with her good clothes on. I notice when stuff goes wrong, she doesn't say a lot, like she is so used to Dougo going out to left field when he's talking. I just thought i was coming to pick you up to take you somewhere, those clothes she was wearing, not getting dirty, nope, Dougo was busting the mud slab himself. G-d bless, and hope the break downs are up and running soon.

Thanks for another great video Chet and Dougo. It was more than interesting to say the least. The new fertilizer spreader seems to work good. Odd that it is on wheels and not tracks. Different design I guess. Like that running board above the wheels so you can look in the fertilizer bay. Nice unit overall. Sorry the tractor has problems with the tracks. Hopefully an adjustment will fix the problem. Oh well, move to another tractor. Now to Dougo and the scraper. Dougo you had me laughing so hard on this one. Not that there is a breakdown but thinking Amy would get involved in the problem ness. Oh my. I never saw a clump of hard and I mean hard dirt that huge. It is huge. No wonder it tore the hydraulic hose off. Lucky no was no more damage. Wow. Getting that clump of dirt out of there will take some doing. Like that old leaf spring you were using to break it up. No way Dougo. How much hydraulic oil will it take to refill that big scraper?????? Oh boy on that one. Amy you did good by not getting involved in this one. But thanks for giving Dougo a ride. Most unusual situation here. Huge clump of dirt tears hydraulic hose off. Sounds not too bad until you see the HUGE clump of dirt. I know you will get it going again. But watch out for the flying dirt clumps. Dougo you should be an actor. You had me in stitches laughing. You made my day!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Dougo for the entertainment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
