I wouldn't reimburse her anything. Why is noone else coming forward with car problems. Keep in mind several hours went by if not a day from the time she pumped her gas to the time she called the gas station back. Wouldn't there be more then one person who pumped and complained. Also besides the department of weights and measures monitoring the pump every year, theres computers and sensors that measure everything in the storage tank that alert the gas station if the gas is low or contaminated so.e how. I used to test gas stations and terrible herps in Nevada always failed not just with water in the tanks they also played with the pumps like if you paid for 5 gallons of gas you only got 4 gallons

Never purchase gas when a tanker is delivering fuel to the station. It stirs everything up on the bottom of the tanks. The filters may trap the water and the sediment but why take the chance.

Hmmm thank you for that, but I'm confused to why the has station doesn't shut down for the moment if that's the case. Money of course, but if the gas station has to reimbuse an individual for their engine then that would cost more then whatever amount of gas they could sell in those 20 minutes.

A local station just had this same problem. However, it wasn't the station's fault. It was the oil company distributor's fault. The oil company delivered bad gas!

I happened to me this year in the bronx in my BMW C650 GT scooter 9/03/2021 water in the tank. Plus 12 or more car's look like a parking lot at the gas station Sunoco. They will pay the tow and repair.

@Samuel Nuno She got several thousand dollars back and is complaining about a $40 tank of gas. Anyway, why is she the only one that ended up with bad gas? She went to her friends house, stayed for awhile then tried to leave, went to a mechanic, then informed the gas station. Your telling me noone else had problems with shitty gas in there car from the time she filled up to the time she informed the gasstation. She or the mechanic needs to be investigated.
