This week on what's for dinner, mom stopped cooking on Sundays so I had to cook lasagna and chicken for the fam. I'm so disappointed because mom was really helping me out. Ya'll make sure you watch so you can the disappointment on my face. By the end of the week I was over it....haha!

I simply put a bowl underneath the colander when draining meats bcuz I had to deal with that clogged piping I rent and the previous tenants had so much oil in the drain the plumbers had to be called and it was a night mare so I know its a pain to take extra steps for draining but I rather do that versus the annoyance of plumbers having to unclog drains

Heydy😇🤗 again Shae's you are so correct about tomato paste. but, if I don't have any paste, when I'm done cooking my meat sauce, I will stick the whole skillet in the oven for 18 mins uncoverd at 375 degrees that will thicken the meat sauce perfectly. I am so enjoying your cooking skills like your granny. Much love and cook more!

What would Steve Harvey say? I've been binge watching his "Hey Steve" videos. I think he would think you are being a good daughter, Shae. My mom died a few years ago. There have been times I've wished I had bit my tongue. I say, Lord, would you tell my momma I said ....whatever.... instead of what I did say. You could tell your momma that you miss her in that kitchen! Hugs! (That lasagna looks yummy.) Thanks for the tip about using black pepper with turmeric.
