❤️ Subscribe ⬇️ Granny is cooking from scratch in her own kitchen today! Although this video is a keepsake for my family, I know how much you all love to see granny in the kitchen so I'm sharing these precious moments with you all. Because of COVID and my pregnancy, I haven't seen my grandparents in about a year and I miss them so much. However, my mom took some time to visit them and capture this footage of what a day in my granny's life looks like. She is still so hard working and such a delight to watch. That's because she literally still runs circles around all her kids, grandchildren, and great grands in the kitchen...and there's a lot of us. I hope you all enjoy!

About Me
Hello friends! Thank you for showing me love and stopping by my channel! My name is RaShae Lyle but everyone knows me as Shae. I'm a Christian, wife, mother, and cook. My love for cooking was sparked as a child watching my grandmother and mother cook southern classics. I spent many hours watching and asking basic questions before I started cooking full on meals at the young age of 11. Since then, it has become my passion to cook and bake for others and eventually my own family. I truly believe in the power of a good cooked meal and the many memories and conversations that can occur around the dining table. On this channel, my goal is to provide easy and delicious dinner ideas that will help other working moms feed their families with ease. Also, my dream is to help others learn the necessary cooking skills, that for some reason aren't being passed down to upcoming generations. I would love for each of you to become part of my community and subscribe to the channel.

This was so wonderful to watch. It brought back fond memories of my childhood when my nana would cook in her kitchen. She is still living, 87, but doesn’t cook anymore. Thank you for sharing your precious grandmom with us. And absolutely loved how grand pop acknowledged our Heavenly Father before the meal. I just love this. God bless you and your family❤️❤️🙏🏾

This video makes me want to cry...brought back so many memories. This meal was a staple in my home growing up. You are so blessed to have both your mom and granny. I love how your Granny added both the cornmeal and flour even after your mom told her not to. LOL

THIS WAS A BEAUTIFUL SHARE!...IT LITERALLY BROUGHT TEARS TO MY 👀 EYES WHEN GRANDDAD CAME TOGETHER TO BLESS THE FOOD. THE GARDEN TOOK THE CAKE,AS IT REMINDED ME OF MY GRANDFATHER 'S GARDEN, AS A CHILD. THIS IS TRULY AN AMAZING BLESSING IN THAT YOU ARE ABLE TO CAPTURE ALL OF YOUR GRANDPARENT'S MOMENTS IN THIS LIGHT, TO PASS DOWN TO YOUR CHILDREN. ....I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE BOWL AND WHALE TECHNIQUE, AND TO GIVE BACK TO THE SOUTHERN STYLE OF TRADITION, I WILL TAKE YOU UP ON THE CHALLENGE TO PERFECT IT, ALONG WITH YOU ! TAKE CARE OF THE BABIES, STAY SAFE!!!

I soooo agree. I miss mine so much. I used to sit with her in her screen porch and she’d tell me stories of the old days and mann, I wish we had cell phones to capture those memories. I love how granddaddy jumped in to pray before the meals too, even though he had to “wait cause we filming”, lol. The same family dynamics, even after 40-60 years together they still have the love and respect for each other, that’s obvious, even when mine works my last nerve, lol, I want to give him the love and respect he deserves too. Imma be like grandma when we get there...Lord help me, you know I need you to help me on my journey help me on my way, Oh Lord 😇🙏🏽😇🙏🏽😇🙏🏽😇🙏🏽😇 Thanks Shae for sharing, thanks mom for recording, this is PRICELESS. Four generations, such a blessing. And that beautiful land of theirs, awesome 🙌🏾 Please let your grandparents know how much I respect and adore them. I will be praying for them daily. #WeAllWeGot 🥰🥰🥰

She has definitely taught me a lot! They don't make them like her anymore....literally! I CAN'T do all that she does cause I get tired when she tell me what she's doing. Between running errands, taking care of my grandfather, planting gardens, picking bushels of peas, selling peas, grabbing fire wood, making fires, and taking care of the house. Non of her kids or grandkids got that particular gene.
