Soen is always a bit tricky to transcribe which is why I don't have a whole lot of Soen covers. But their songs are quite good so.. I can't say that I don't enjoy it :)

dude... soen. yes please. for me, they started off "like tool", then every subsequent album they began to kick ass more and more in their own way. incredible band, and bass-rich enough to provide a chunk of content.

Agreed, they've really grown into their own sound! I wont lie though I still love their pseudo Tool-clone sound on cognitive, especially the outro to Fraccions.

I got into Soen quite heavily in the last couple months, this was an absolute treat! Effectively no other good tabs out there on any of their bass work, which is crazy for a band that once had the likes of Steve DiGiorgio and other incredible bassists. Phenomenal work, really looking forward to more! (Time to downtune the bass a full step though, great sadness.)
