Very cool build, thank you for walking through it! I'd probably print out another one of those inlay pieces for the bottom, just so it's even more confusing. :P

@@TroytheMaker yes, but holy crap its a doozy. Looks amazing but its soooo many parts. I hope there are instructions with that one. I don't think I would know where to start.

Thank you for well thought out explanation of the assembly. I hope you get 10k hits and others follow your example on how to make a great how-to posting. I can’t afford the Premium level right now but perhaps soon. I’ve had my GF for over two years. It is by far the best maker tool I own and I have 2 lathes and a milling machine. I’ve thought about doing a video for some of my projects but I know how many hours it takes to create a proper 5 minute post. Keep making things. I really like boxes with gears or anything with moving parts. Always on the lookout for good designs, whether to buy or for free.

SHOOOT you think this puzzle box was hard to put together lol YOU SEE THAT DAMN SPACE SHUTTLE!?!?!? It has like a MILLION pieces....and ZERO instructions. Literally cut all the pieces out, excited to put it together, then I noticed there were no instructions at all. That was last week... still have yet to complete it.
