hey great...one word of advice...its all about how you spread the solution...easy strokes...very lil downpressure on the brush...and after 2 coats if it doesnt quite look good to you, dont be afraid to add another coat or 2...

Thanks for sharing that video. I am a beginner and that was very helpful. I have a stack of smaller tiles left over from a tiling job and I was going to play with them and try making drink coasters - would they need to be sealed afterwards? And if so do you have any recommendations on what to seal them with?

thank you for watching, now I dont seal my tiles after engraving but if you are using them as coasters then yes you could seal them, I use rustoleum clear sealer on my slate coasters and canvas, hope this helps, happy lazering

How much difference in PWR and speed with 40w, how would you do a test grid setup?

hey thanks for watching , now I have the 20w my son has the 40w and we're talking settings all the time....for my son since he has the 40w he almost cuts the power by half, but not quite....now if the engraving doesn't come out great up the power a bit and run it again....as for test grids Id have to do a video on that...its a lil hard to explain while typing....oh watch my video on the 2 tone glass part 1...the titanium dioxide i mix with white chalk paint actually comes out not bad on tile and easier to apply...happy lazering
