Love the channel. Would you explain your reasoning for using this method over a photogrammetric one?

From research and some testing it seemed that photogrammetry works best when you can rotate around the object. This allows you to get the camera pointed perpendicular to an axis of interest, in which case the camera is a great measurement tool. A few meters divide by 4000+ pixels is excellent resolution. When you're within a space and limited to just pointing here and there: the direct distance measurement of laser lines seemed ideal. I also like the fact that it's computationally simple, which makes error detection easier.
