Thanks for this video. The 8” storage tubes shown in the video have lockable covers. Where did you find these, or are they custom made?

Its also important to mention I used 3M caulking "5200" to seal the gap between the pipe and I used a waterproof master lock. 2:02 - You don't need anywhere near 2,000 towing capacity to tow a Laser. Granted I have a Kitty Hawk, so my combined boat/trailer weight is probably 500 lbs. However, even your rig is probably less than 1,000 lbs.

You are absolutely right you don't need it but it is nice to have it. I also carry spare spars and there can be water in the boat sometimes so better to have the extra weight to carry and not need it then need it and not have it. Thanks for the feedback and as always I appreciate you watching!

the bad guys will not bother stealing just the trailer. They will take the whole car with the trailer and boat lol.

Good point, so maybe the CLUB to lock the steering wheel as well! In my experience most crime is of opportunity and locks can be enough of a deterrence. Thanks for watching!

Why don’t you just pull it onto trailer on the dolly, that’s what we do in oz

Hi Blogs Fred and yes I looked at those trailers and they seemed to have the smaller wheels, not great for highway miles and some of the structure and load-bearing points looked dependent on plastic bits and pieces but if it works for your situation then that's great. Is there a particular model or link you would recommend to take a look at? Thanks for all your help.
