Thank you! We’re glad you found it useful. When using UV as an excitation light in confocal microscopy, make sure that your objective, scan lens, and tube lens have a good enough transmission efficiency and are chromatically corrected for UV.

Thank you for your question! Descanned means that the emission does not have to go through the scanners to reach the detectors.
