Many reviews talk about the light and/ or laser turning on via the manual button(s) when holstered draining the battery quickly and in some cases signaling that the guy with the green (or red) dot following him around on the floor is concealed carrying.... Almost ordered this unit until I found this out. Presently using an ArmaLaser on an LC9 with only Gripsense activation and no issues. Was looking for something with a laser + light and this fit the bill but now I'm not so sure. My two cents: If you have the option on whatever product you purchase, spend the extra money and get a GREEN laser. A RED laser is very hard to see in day light.

I've ordered one of these for the ec9s that I occasionally edc. It should be here in an hour or two. Excited to see how well I like it on the ec9s vs the 26gen5 with a Streamlight TLR-6

I ordered the versacarry archangel and modified it to accommodate the Lazer max works very well guess I need to post how it did it because it seems to be a common issue

Would be a great buy, if they did something about the size. It's rather bulky. Crimson Trace; while has a "pressure button" is more sleek, and less intrusive to the user.

Ok lasermax, what is the problem when the grip sence fails to activate when you turn it on. It gives me the flash indication but when I put my hand on the sensor on doesn't activate.

low battery, can also use (4) 1.5v 4LR44's if in a pinch

Received my new Lightning, GS-LTN-G green laser. Installed properly. Seemed ok that night. Took it out of the case (2) days later to zero. Its acting crazy! It turns on with super sensitive Active Grip. But, once lit up it will not shut off. Won’t respond in any way to the buttons. Grip sense, forget it! Its on! But, its a very crappy beam. Appears pixelated for lack of better term. Like it sorta might be trying to flash or strobe, weakly. Only way to shut the thing off is to pull the batteries. 2 days old! Already no worky? Is all this a bettery problem? Please advise, I’ll hang up now and listen for a reply. Thanx!

Fail on my unit, with Gripsense activated it draws 1 ma and the batteries are 160 ma so in my calculations the batteries will need to be replaced every 6 days. Also, the activate button is to light to the touch so a soft holster can easily set it to come on, then you are walking around with a green dot flashing in your pants. Only way to shut it off is to pull your gun from holster? This product is an epic fail, should have bought crimson trace, now I got a holster being made for this.

Are the Glock, Ruger LC9s and S&W Shield priced about the same? Are they currently available?

I see where there is one for the LC9s but Glock is not available yet. I hope there will be one for the Glock 26. Sorry for going off half cocked. I should have read farther.

Depending on how well the Ruger LC0s works, I plan to order one for my Glock 26 when it becomes available. I teach classes and many of my students have shown interest in lasers.

Just installed mine. Its not sensing my finger well. Takes at least 2 points of contact to activate. Any way to adjust sensitivity before I send it back

Why not just use the buttons, the grip sense is a dumb design overall tbh.

I'm not real impressed with grip sense it tends to register your second finger not your trigger finger . That becomes an issue for me because it stays on all the time . When I want it off I have to loose my grip and control of my weapon. Slightly dangerous and extremely annoying. Not impressed at all with it . Looking for something more suitable to my grip and requirements
