Hi everyone. We are working hard to get ourselves back up to speed with releasing three videos a week. Yesterday was a day off to celebrate Jessica's Birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSICA!) and we get a new laptop tomorrow to replace the one that was stolen when our motorhome was broken into in Brussels. This is without doubt the best Camino blog around. An amazing family, Avalon and Largo are awesome. It brought back so many memories, I’ve done the camino 3 times and will do the 4th (Camino Frances) with my wife starting in November. So impatient to see the final few days and in particular your walk into Santiago, which is always a memorable experience. Best wishes from Australia

Avalon doesn't know how much she's going to look back on this journey and appreciate everything it has given her. It's like money in the bank accumulating interest every day. Its dividends won't be fully enjoyed until a time when she looks back and reminisces. She's already come to appreciate RV travel life and even her chores. Funny how some things sneak up on you.😁 And, she sure doesn't want you pointing this out.🤣Jessica, I hope the Hot Italian made your birthday a memorable occasion. Happy Birthday Jessica!! Was in Portomarin two days ago, the reservoir is almost completely dry now, you can see the remains of the old toewn before they moved it up the hill. Let's hope they get some good rain over winter.

Now that we are back I think she is wishing for hiking over chores. Ha. We have made a bigger commitment to vegetarian/pescatarian in the last couple of weeks. We solely eat it in Lemonade, but when we are experiencing a culture we eat what the locals eat as we feel it adds to the learning/experience.

Dear Family World Towning, My wife and I completed the last 100 kilometers of the Camino on October 5th. At age 70 with all kinds of physical issues we took 8 days to walk it. It was magical and for me spiritual. Met so many nice Spanish people and pilgrims. We did not see the mounted horse police but that explains the ubiquitous horse droppings along the route. Although I took lots of cell phone pics to share with family/friends, Will has done us the kindness of professionally capturing the last 100 kilometers on film. As far as Camino food, I understand Will's' weariness with tuna on every salad. Amazing house wines and food. By day four I was fantasizing about peanut butter and Vermont cheddar cheese. We refused to eat octopus because they are so intelligent and cute. We also were puzzled by the route choices at the sign before Portomarin. We chose the plunging route. When we were there the reservoir was empty. So we had no lake view. But, 8 days of bright blue skies, low humidity, temps 80 to 60s.Thanks.

I sincerely hope Avalon and Largo chose to walk the Camino off in their future with there parents tagging along. LOL! The trouble with walking the Camino is figuring out what adventure your family can do to top it or score just a tie.
