Batman is scary but that doesn't make him emotionless. But Batman did kill in the comics before. In the Batman the dark knight returns, Batman killed the Joker with his own hands but his moral code was so strong that he hallucinated the Joker killing himself. But in reality, it was him who killed the Joker. Batfleck has endured so many losses. His version of Jason Todd is forever dead and Batman is already old. People didn't turn good and Gotham has stayed the same way it ever was. Bruce Wayne expired from the world, he became an alter ego while Batman was always the real one. During the Batman and Alfred conversation, they talked like Bruce Wayne was another person. The Joker killed Jason and his mind snapped. He started killing criminals and didn't care. But what bothers me is that he never killed the Joker?! Or the Joker went into hiding and never returned. When he returned, Batman was already normal again after the death of Superman.

@@the.abhiram.rHe does not think Batman SHOULD kill. That’s the literal opposite. He wanted to show Batman killing to get another aspect the character. Batman is not a hero in BvS. He has literally become a monster (hence the dream of the bat devouring Bruce). It’s shown that his broken morals and psychotic behavior that were born from his trauma made him kill a father and husband. That’s the reason why Superman wants to stop him. Sup was the good guy in BvS. Not Batman. And Bruce ends up learning his lesson upon witnessing Clark’s sacrifice and understanding that another « Martha », another innocent mother, was about to die but this time because of his own actions. And that’s why he spares Luthor in the end, showing that he grew from that and does not kill anymore.

"Maybe some other time" who knows, who knows, we'll see him in the future in a multiverse saga or, if possible, make his solo film for DC Elseworlds. Anyway thanks Ben Affleck, I'm curious to know who the new actor will be and I hope James Gunn brings Alan Ritchson as Batman (by the way Alan looks similar to Affleck lol)

In an another universe, the Snyderverse was a huge success, we got Batfleck/Cavill fighting along side as best friends with GL, MM, Hawkgirl, WW, Flash, Cyborg taking on Darkseid in the final installment. I'll just say thats what happened, to justify what didnt happen....in this universe.

This is years (Years) late rant but when they announced that Affleck was gonna be 'The Batman' I shrugged it of because I saw him as Daredevil, loved that movie even with its flaws, but Batfleck won me over in every movie he was in, was it either Bruce Wayne or Batman, Ben made Bruce/Batman almost like an ordinary citizen/ we all can help/ shape the future.
@vincentmcgettigan79488 ай бұрын
And if this was truly the last time we see him, what great words he had, "Don't live you past, live your life." Many of us dwell too much in the past, myself included. And if you keep doing that, you're just setting yourself up to loose. A great final lesson from the Batman.

0:52 I love Affleck and Keatons take on possibly bringing back his parents. I think 100% they would want to go back to the past to save their parents. But knowing who they are, and how many lives they have saved being Batman they have accepted who they are.

"Your tragedy made you a hero," "It also made me alone" That line hits hard cuz I feel like I was always a hero/great guy growing up and now I am kinda alone... No one wants to hangout or get to know me ):
@michaelmilian433617 күн бұрын
Loneliness is more painful than any punishment. It cuts deeper than any weapon. You are not alone. This loneliness we feel, it’s because there is something inside that is capable of incredible love. Love that gives you strength and purpose. The sad part is Bruce says his purpose also made him alone. But without Batman, the world would be much worse off. Sometimes the sacrifices we make are for reasons outside of our control
