For anyone confused, The Special Boat Service(or squadron as it was known then) is a part of the Royal Marines. Its a specialisation known as a "Swimmer Canoeist" within the RMs. So when he says "ill give them to the marines" He's not wrong. He's not going to say "ill give them to these highly secret maritime special forces unit that just stormed the building". You can tell they are SF because they all have M16s which back then were only issued to SF and units like Pathfinders, 148FOB.

That camoed, different Chinook is a tell tale sign that that its passengers were SBS. These were applied to 7 Squadron RAF to support UKSF operations in the Gulf. They still operate the 47s to support British SF missions to this day. The guy in 14:55 definitely is one of them. My guy has a not in regs haircut, and using active protection headphones and NOT a helmet, when most of the regular folks are using the plain jain MK6 pot

Definitely UKSF with the Remington M870 Magnum breaching shotgun and M16s. At 11:19 you see an SBS or SAS soldier with an MP5 or HK53 with a 40mm grenade launcher and at 22:19 one even has an SLR.

They’re Royal Marines from BPT with a few army Commandos mixed in. SBS hardly did any work in Iraq as there big brother from Hereford wanted what they thought was the big job in Iraq and gave what they thought was going to be the smaller job of Afghan to Poole. How wrong they where😊
