Last Drive of the Year! ASMR - Hoosier Garage

It's a cold damp day in Southern Indiana and as much as I would like to be in the shop working on either converting this van to Power Steering, or buzzing down welds on our 72 Duster, I decided the last day of the year I could just go for a nice little drive through the country side, thru some small local towns and grab a snack while at it, and make a video. Please give me feedback on anything I post but especially these ASMR style videos.

Looks like some straight roads in the middle of no where....which will come in handy once that Duster is up and running with some muscle under the hood.....and I see another van outside next to the garage....

Old 318 sounding good. Enjoyed the drive seeing some of the countryside in Indiana. I have a different channel where I ride my Can Am Spyder showing the rural parts of South West Virginia and Tennessee. Always enjoy seeing different parts of our country. Been across the United States from Virginia to California probably 50 times and still counting.

Awsome way to End 2023! Is that a Vintage Windshield or Brand New Glass? My '76 Dodge Van("DeathTrap") has the Same Cloudiness/Foggy Look around the outside Edge. I Assumed it was some sort of damage or Flaw in the Windshield glass, or did they come like that in some instances? I Don't think my Green '77 has that. ...that I Remember. Your Sharing of Info & Knowledge is Greatly Appreciated. I Hope You & the Family have a Safe, Happy & Prosperous New Year! 🙂🎉

Its the laminate shrinking between the two pieces of glass. Might have to do a switch-a-roo with the green van.

@@HoosierGarage I'm not Sure how Perfect the Glass is in the Green Van. But I'm sure you will inspect it thoroughly before Deciding if it's worth using or not. Hopefully you can get it Removed & Transfered without Damage. Is that where the Power Steering is coming from? (Off the Green Van)

Thank Goodness Mother Nature has taken it Easy on us & provided a Mild Winter so far. Would you Normally have Snow there by now? Up here in Northeast Wisconsin we would, but it looks the Same here Now as in your Video. 😁 I'm sure we will get it Eventually though. We Always Do. ❄️ (My Van is Already Tucked away in Storage.)

This part of the state usually doesnt get much accumulation until mid january. But when i lived near Indy it would have usually snowed a few times in December

Hey dude do you know how to open the hood. My 76 dodge van hood won’t open. The release works but it won’t go all the way I guess. Tried opening it but it’s stuck. Any advice? Or videos?

@@0102lazo take some penitrating oil with the straw and shoot in behind the finger latch and try a little later. They get really dry and hang if yoi dont grease them occasionally
