Years ago I read some Arthur C Clarke books, I loved them.... I probably still have them somewhere. Memories... The play you read sounds like a short TV series that came out a few years ago (2015) called "the slap", I think there it was a family that falls apart. Interesting, but I don't think you should act in it if you are taking a break and it did not grab you. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I actually have not read any Arthur C. Clarke books, I've read a few that have won the award, but not any of his actual books. I have almost all of them on Kindle, but I have not read them. Yeah I'm an absolute last resort for acting in it. My wife knows I don't want to, but I am also not going to leave her hanging if she runs out of options either.

I read Arthur C. Clarke years ago, I guess with all the books you have read in the mean time his books might seem outdated with the original ideas really good. I hope your wife finds some one good for the play, fingers crossed 🤞🏻
