One of my favourite times going to the Gardens was Jan 8, 1994. Leafs smacked the Canucks 5-3. Killer scored and earned three assists. I remember waking up that morning and calling Ticketmaster when the Leafs had home Saturday night games, hoping there'd be some spares: there were three Greys; perfect for my brother, Dad, and I. I ran downstairs to tell my Dad, hoping he'd say yes, and indeed he did. So we drove to Kipling station, took the subway to the Gardens, walked up the steps and to our seats. Never a bad view. I always, always, always enjoyed going there.

WE WILL REMEMBER THE VERY LAST GAME AT THE MAPLE LEAF GARDENS IN 1999 AFTERWARDS,WHEN TORONTO RAPTORS' HOME ARENA (THE SKYDOME) (NOW ROGER CENTRE) AND MAPLE LEAFS AT MLG WERE MOVED TO THE NEW AIR CANADA CENTER (NOW BECAME THE SCOTIABANK ARENA) ONE WEEK AFTER THE LEAFS LAST MLG GAME.

It's to bad the Buds got blown out 6-2 for the last game at the Gardens & Bob Probert was the last player to score a goal at the Gardens.
