My son who is 3 loves your videos! Especially the oldie but goodies treasure finds. He puts his toy cars in a shoe box or tote play your videos and dig his out one by one and talk about the car. I like watching them as well seeing all the die cast I guess where we watch them over and over every day

Elastic bands tend to get dry fast.The hearses look great but the '57 Cadillac Eldorado and the '59 Eldorado Woodie are the highlights for me.I also enjoyed the older vehicles.Thanks for showing all of these!

There are so many "most satisfying" videos on youtube but they don't satisfy anywhere near as much as watching you crack open a 34 year old Hot Wheels. Even more so when the card is in minty condition. Thanks for the videos. You make me want to go hunting.
@wtffor8 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and commenting, and I'm glad my cracking video inspires you to go on the hunt for these awesome collectibles. It really is a most satisfying hobby, isn't it? Thanks again, and happy hunting!

WOW!! Worth the wait man. I don't think there's one rig there I didn't like. Hard to pick a favourite. Those lowriders are pretty special. The green tinted windows on the 100% HW hearse are madness! I reckon the Peterbilt truck is a dead ringer almost for the one in "Duel" the movie, tho' the tank is a trailer in the original flick. Killer haul mate and plenty o' play time ahead, cheers from Oz, Rod [ps: very stylish vid as usual my good fellow' and cant' wait for the unboxing of the M2's and others]

Those lowriders!!! I have some Revell LRs,wich are great and very well detailed, but those HWs!!! Amazing, love how it has a pivot point, really well designed! Glad to see you've picked up some Majorettes, they're cool huh? Over here In Belgium we also get 'em and I really like 'em. It must be even cooler for you as they make cars you've probably never heard about before... Like the C4 Cactus and the Twingo :)

Cool video, I especially like the hearses. There's at least one more variation of the 1963 hearse, I have one that's a customised Halloween issue with the same five spoke wheels and tyres as on the Mercury woody. The blue car in the Voodoo Highway box set might well be based on a Tucker.

I take it you found some Majorettes locally since there are at Canadian Wal-Marts now? From what I've heard, there is effort to bring them to the states, and I do think it is possible, but we will see. Also, nice to see some new M2! Been a while since I picked up an M2, but, that's because Wal-Mart has been slow in stocking them lately.
@wtffor8 жыл бұрын
Majorettes are awesome, I have been meaning to make a video on them, and I shall soon! Thanks for watching, and your comment! Hope you can find some in the USA!

wtffor Definitely great models! I definitely hope we do get em, cuz there's quite a few I wouldn't mind having! Also, I think you should know that there's a Canadian postal vehicle along with several USPS vehicles, coming next year, as Greenlight got the license for that :).

@wtffor6 жыл бұрын
Mine is a 1984, technically it was built in 1983 just as Datsun became Nissan... as mine has both badging. I do have many models of the car, it was quite popularly produced from numerous brands and diecast companies!

That Peterbuilt Tanker Truck looks pretty close to the condition I've seen it in at Value Village thrift stores. I lost mine from when I was a kid, would love to add one to my collection and I don't need mint, but the only two I've ever seen at Value Village were in very, very played-with condition, where I was tempted to buy them but passed. I think they were both missing the rubber hoses, if either one had had the hoses, I'd probably have gone for it. The one I really want the most is the Shell one from the early 1990s and that one may be a rare eBay buy for me eventually. Also the one from the 1980s with the generic Railroad (?) company tampos (re: the one I actually had). I'm thinking the Peterbuilt Tanker Truck may be one of the most "solid" mainline Hot Wheels cars ever made with the metal tank instead of chromed plastic, the way Hot Wheels does tanks today even for premium releases.
@SteveBrandon8 жыл бұрын
I really miss the Hot Wheels 100% series from back in the days when Mattel sold that sort of super-premium release at retail and not just as RLC exclusives that you have to pay through the nose for on the RLC site itself or through the nose plus markup on eBay. :-/ Also, another advantage of the 100% Hot Wheels series was that you didn't have to be a paid member of a ridiculously hard to get into online collectors club to be able to buy them at retail if you didn't want to pick through the remainders once they hit the non-members part of the site.
@SteveBrandon8 жыл бұрын
26:15 Since you're showing off a military vehicle you got in a baggie from Value Village, I should probably mention the military-themed baggie I found a few weeks ago; had some mid-1970s Hot Wheels Redlines in it including the somewhat desirable Olds 442 "Staff Car" as well as the Military Police "Super Van" and another one from the same set, I forget what it's called offhand but it has a truck front and treads in rear and a pivoting gun on top. I'm in Ontario too, but they also have Value Village in the United States (I believe it actually started in San Francisco), known mainly as Savers down there although it's still VV in some States, and Value Village also operates a handful of stores in Australia.

Great haul video! Many of the 100% Hot Wheels are actually based on real cars too! I have a few of them but have never been able to bring myself to open them up, even though the rotten elastics make them look pretty poor. I was wondering if you have any advice as to how to liquidate a collection of a few hundred die cast cars (from old redlines through to new premium cars)? I don't want to piece them off on Ebay as I would rather sell them as a lot-but it is next to impossible to post enough detailed pictures on websites. Any tips? Thanks!
@wtffor8 жыл бұрын
Oh no! Are you exiting the hobby? If so, sorry to hear that. I have no recommendations as I have never sold more then a handful of cars, all on eBay. That's where you will get top dollar, however it is time intensive.
@Aleksandar_M8 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the quick reply O-Dawg. No I am not completely exiting the hobby rather I have a lot of cool stuff that just sits in boxes that I'm either reluctant to open (like those 100%s or the Ferrari line from a few years back) or don't have display space (I've seen too many yellow blisters to display them in the packaging), most importantly I bought a real life redline (1966 Jaguar 3.8S, with redline tires!) that needs some TLC so I'm sacrificing the under-appreciated part of the collection to fund the Jag!

hey are you ever going to complete the hot wheel wall
@wtffor8 жыл бұрын
It is nearly complete from 1974 to 1994, about 95%. The final cars are very difficult to find as they are all rare models. Funny you ask though (I know it has been a while since I did a video on the Wall)... but I just bought a hoard of rare Hot Wheels the other day and am awaiting their shipment from eBay. When I get them, I will do a Wall update! Stay tuned!! Thanks for your comment, happy Holidays Justin Cuevas!

I'm Canadian, maybe my accent sounds funny to you. I remember the Aries well, my uncle Bob had one. Then he bought a K-Car that talked. Now I have a talking 1984 Nissan 300ZX that I drive in the summers. In Canada, we pronounce Nissan "Nee-San".

I agree... it was a bit of a spontaneous action, but then again I don't intend on selling my collection in my life time, so for the next 60 years or so I won't have enough room to store cardboard and plastic for every car I buy from now until then. At present I have over 55,000 cars...
