Rivets are lighter than nutserts & a bolt and unless you need to remove it often, I prefer rivets. You should look into AVEX rivets

When it come to interior color wanna pick something that doesn’t look dirty as well as not so bright that it’s reflecting light in an obscuring kind of way so nothing in a light color but then at the same time you don’t want something too dark because Florida and things will get hot cooking in the sun. If the vehicle is most likely gonna be green then why not a matching green but no clear so satin or matte could work. Good luck gents.

lets be honest .... so Adam is going to dmec this year if he comes back to fd he will be way better driver thn now coz the guys at dmec are all more precision driver and more technical thn fd ..... and that's why i feel Adam will be a whole different animal whn he comes back to fd

Dzus fasteners are cool, I just hate doing them on lift off hoods LOL

Dzus tabs are best for those bead rolled aluminum panels. Try using them for something like The front cover panels in the engine bay so they’re closed from getting rubber in but also you can remove them fast for service

Need to do a forgotten BMW chassis build of either an E21 or E23. I think it would be impossible being there is nothing out there for those classic bmw chassis. Trying to find either a E21 323i or E23 745i is next to impossible these days let alone performance parts...

Yeah I was going to say they should try a piece of PPF or clear vinyl on the battery cover to keep it nice without having to remake the whole thing
