Tori, one year for Christmas I made a scrapbook type recipe book for each of our boys. I made both books identical, so if one was looking for something or another they could call each other. Throughout the book was pictures of them small and all through the years, and I included each of our family members. They both have it out in their kitchens!! Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I used to bake for my aunts/uncles, grandparents and cousins. From young to old. Then we started gifting each other tree ornaments. My mom started giving us ornaments when I was a preteen. She used to see AVON and we got those for years. Then she branched out from there. Started the tradition with my own kids.

I used to freeze water in cans. Then do the design with hammering a nail in it. The ice melts then you have a cool candle holder. My daughter loves for me to make her crochet wash cloths. I've always loved finding things at thrift stores that can be cleaned up....or making fresh bread wth a jar of homemade jam or butter.

I’ve made body scrubs in the past, which everyone really liked. This year I’ve given a lot of baked goods to family and friends. I think it’s really appreciated especially during this time of year, not everyone has the time to bake!

My father-in-law is a hydrogeologist so I'm gluing rocks around a wooden frame and putting a picture of my family in it. He loves rocks. 😆 I'm also trying to learn how to make cologne for my husband! I found these amber colored vintage looking glasses with corks at the Dollar Store and I'd love to fill them with cologne. I have eucalyptus and lavender oil, but I need to figure out the proper mix of ingredients. P.s. Did I hear you're in PA now? You're in my neck of the woods. Welcome! 😊

Love these ideas! My idea is not reality yet, but I would love to be part of a co-op trading group where we could exchange some of our products. Every year I have a surplus of my Christmas Fig Butter (jam), and I give it as gifts, but I'd love to be able to trade it for other people's homestead goods. Like a Christmas cookie exchange, except not necessarily cookies 😂

I'm terrible at giving thoughtful gifts. Unless someone says, "I need an X" usually I'm lost. My wife is much better. I've found that boxes of candies or something like those canisters of cookies is safe and mostly well received. . . I'd like to revise my answer a little on your drone question to me... While I stand firm that we are being sold out in some way, according to some "media" sources they are looking for some sort of "radioactive materials that have gone missing." Plausible, but I think it will lead back to my original answer. I would like to know your thoughts on the subject. Have a great day. 👍
