I wonder if giving Perez the boot and trying Ricardo in the Redbull for a few races this year is an option. That way if Ricardo is due for the pasture Lawson will have a few races under his belt before going full time in the RB, which could be useful since a lot of rookies just haven't been able to make the jump from a back marker to the RB, never mind F2. This may also make the hiring of some other possibilities an option if Ricardo is fired and Lawson takes the RB seat next year.

Perez has generally maintained a seat in F1 because of his big money sponsors. He was worth the risk so long as the team stayed on top of the constructors championship - With 12 races remaining RBR have a lead of 72 points with McLaren scoring consistently. It must be a concern.

Danny Ric isn't any better than Checo, in fact Danny Ric has lost his mojo. It's time to get Lawson into the car. He deserves a shot at it. Checo is so inconsistent.
