Brill bike! I'd still be tempted to get a Himi if wanted an adv/tourer but sure the Triumph is on another lvl. (I saw the Tiger Rally the other day, exudes quality etc) Just sat on the classic n the Meteor.

Thanks for the thorough reviews. Regarding the indicators, they're 2-stage. A quick press cancels the indicators after about 3 seconds and is intended for use when changing lanes. For turns, a slightly longer press keeps the indicators on until the turn is completed. Did you do any 2-up riding in your test ride? If so, how was the passenger's experience - seat comfort, wind protection, peg position, overall comfort; and how as the power and handling? Thanks.

Hi Daniel, thanks for the explanation on the indicators, always good to know and a good feature. I didnt test two up riding as the press bike insurance does not cover this. Seams a decent seat though for pillion

I’ve read it has a good amount of vibration through the handlebars and foot pegs at highway speeds, so that would be a big negative for me. Where I live, the speed limit on the highway is 75mph, and going a little above that is normal for many people. (Arizona) Of course, with speedometer error it will probably show above 80 on the gauge to be doing an actual 75mph. Wish I could test ride one but its very difficult to do that in my area at least.

Hi 👋 thanks for tuning in. I don’t think the bike has any more vibes than most bikes I’ve ridden, never had much at motorway speeds while I was testing it. Smaller cc bikes sure will have some but it’s not bad imo

I have owned a tiger 660 now for 2 months great bike only niggle for me is the indicators, they are 2 stage. it means you have to hold the button. you can go into the menue ,and set it to non cancell. great engine great handling .

we seem to be in a 660 lock at the moment with most makers producing this cc, the red is really nice and would rather this adventurer than a GS, not a lot of bhp, but enough, high seat yet again, those tyres are the best, I have them on my Z900, not keen on the TFT, mainly the shape, the front looks quite top heavy with the fairing and this makes the back look quite bare when not touring, but for the price it's a bargain.

Yes it’s a popular 660cc class atm isn’t it. I’ll get you some platform boots David 👍😁 again like the Tuono 660 engine you have seen it feels enough power for the road. Will be a popular on for triumph I’m sure. 👌 cheers and enjoy the weekend

Have to agree on your comments, I absolutely love my tiger 660 sport. Heated grips are an option along with the quickshifter. Great video really enjoyed your review 👍 😀 👌 👏.

@@MOTOUK1 thought so. Just ordered a Triumph Scrambler 900 but think I should have gone 850 Sport. Scrambler perhaps too similar to my T120? Oh well, not the worst problem to have.

I had watched lots of reviews on this bike and so looking forward to riding the tiger 660 thinking this could be my next bike as I am looking to down size from my Z1000sx so booked my self a test ride I had the bike out for 2 hours and sadly I would have to say it’s the most uninspiring bike I have ever ridden the screen is next to useless so much wind noise I have ridden naked bikes with less wind noise the self cancelling indicator are unpredictable the riding position is uncomfortable I would have to say it’s only saving grace is it’s engine

Not the bike for you then Tony, not the first to say wind noise, I found the lower position better but tbh with any screen they do creat turbulence around helmet. Naked bikes clean air is way better imo, hence why I ride an mt10. Glad you test rode it, so many don’t prior to purchase on bikes

Not commenting to convince you specifically, just trying to give an owner's perspective to potential buyers, as a conclusion after a 2 hour test-ride couldn't possibly result in a fair assessment of this or any bike. Comfort will greatly depend on your height. As a 1,84m (>6ft) rider, I find the Tiger 660 to offer a great riding position when compared to most other bikes I've owned or ridden (small and large displacement sports/nakeds, larger tourers). It's as good as perfect in the city and bloody amazing in the twisties (so, so nimble) and even manages to make riding along the cobblestone/brick streets next to the canals of Amsterdam, at 10km/h behind groups of cyclists, elderly and/or drunk tourists (looking at you Brits), a breeze. The clutch and back breaks are just stellar. On the highway it's good enough, not perfect, and with that versatile enough to do anything but off-road riding (don't even try that.. I did, bad idea, at least with stock everything). The windshield could definitely be improved, but saying that it's only saving grace is it's engine is just blatantly untrue, and ignores that both for the price and in the category, it's better than anything else out there, at least until the Transalp with the Hornet 750's engine becomes available. That's going to be a killer bike for sure, in spite of the high probability it wont look nearly as good as the Tiger. I personally dislike the laughably short 1st gear, but with that I'm out of bad things to say about this beauty. I also didn't expect to get so many compliments on its looks. It's a stunner, in spite it not being as beefy as a 1250GS with it's imposing size and boxer engine, or menacing as a 1L+ Kawa. To any prospective buyers: it's FUN, it's not scary, but will surprise you every time you do open the throttle a bit more. It's docile until you want it not to be. It makes you feel safe but never bored. It has been said by many, many YT reviewers, but as a nobody I can't but agree it's that freakin' good now that I have one.
