wow this is so good. as someone who doesn’t live in the united states, i only hear about school shootings through twitter and the news; the feeling i got watching this is one students and people all around the us must feel daily - paranoia, assuming the worse but not wanting to. what you did with andrew’s character is just great. he’s not some misanthropist kid who praises guns and hates the system, he has dimension and other aspects of to his life; he’s just like any other high schooler. and that just enhances the paranoia and tension sam and the viewers feel! excellent, chris, truly excellent 👏👏👏 (also very nice open ending, great for debating and opening conversations on this topic)

This was so well done!!! Capturing that last scene with Sam, who appeared to be contemplating what his responsibilities are in that situation; to either call the police or to just drive away, was so good. As the viewer, you are seeing it from Sam's perspective, causing you to think of what you would do in a similar situation. Would you give in to your own paranoia, play it safe over sorry and call the police? Or give him the benefit of the doubt, trusting that this is a good kid/bad day, and remain silent? I loved this, thank you for making it! Also, the exterior shots giving you a dizzying and anxious feeling as he turned or sped up, was such a great addition

Incredible! The nihilistic perception of humanity by the shooter was very poignant. I liked the Rogan podcast imitation. Placement of Trump's speech was interesting too! By this I simply mean that you were posing the question: if it is a tyrannical government that drives destruction? Or is it the nihilism and apathy within the citizenry (as portrayed by Andrew and Sam respectively) that drives destruction. I figured nothing was by accident. Tl;Dr good movie!

I used to drive for Lyft. I enjoyed meeting a lot of people. Every once in a while you do get a passenger that rubs you the wrong way but I'm sure a lot of passengers feel the same way about the drivers!

That reference was not in the script but was something I used to do when I was a Lyft driver and had to remember what direction the destination was in, in case the GPS took a while to load! So when we were filming it just happened naturally and I thought it worked well and was an interesting Easter egg. Glad you caught it!

Wow- Chris, this was amazing! I've followed you through the years through Starkid and I'm sorry I didn't see this sooner! I'm in college now, but as an American teen in high school with an anxiety disorder, paranoia for these situations is something that was always on my mind and would often spin me into panic attacks. To see this handled in the such a raw and realistic way is truly haunting and impressive. I applaud you and everyone involved!!! Wow um… I’m not an American so this has never been a real thing to worry about but this film is just uniquely haunting. Like I mean it’s so scary but a much more real human kind of scary not some monster that’s going to eat you but a real person who’s about to do a something horrible. Well done
