So many decades they worked on this theory. The company must have a treasure trove of information and testing for these engines. Maybe one day they will come to good use.

It has the roof style of the 79 Lebaron and Diplomat and also, it has the tail light style of the 78 or 79 rather than the clear rear tail light of 77. The Aspen in the beginning of the film appears to be a stock engineless 1978 or 1979 mode. I'm thinking this filmis newer than 1977. Chrylser had to go into production with the Turbine Car in the 1981 or 1982 year but the Bankers in the Bail Out killed i thinking it was too risky

WOW, great film! This must be Winter of 1979 in Detriot! Just before the bail out. Great find!!!!

Shame there is no sound, no specs, no update, nothing. It's like watching a silent movie on radio.

Yea, 1970's Chrysler LeBaron combined with a 1981-1983 Imperial, mixed with a little 1970's Chrysler Cordoba.

Why would they have an 80 year Old man be the one who has to Lower the motor in on a Chain?

He probably knew it better than anyone else. Those Chrysler turbine prototypes were insanely expensive machines, a rookie oops could have been costly.

3:25 That GMC RTS II bus looks way better than that ugly LeBaron. It didn't age well.
