I think a huge reason why they went bankrupt is that they were investing in the wrong places. Sure, the outsourcing costs make it cheaper, but if you have to essentially redo all the drawings they did (as an artist, those drawings had major differences), then of course precious time is being wasted, and time is money. But I truly admire their hard work.

The thing that gets me about the DS games is how there are entire worlds hidden inside those tiny, postage stamp cartridges and how games like Hotel Dusk draw you into them.

There is going to be a new game from the same team as CING (director and people who were on that team) and it's called Chase: Cold Investigations! It comes out the 13/10 and the artstyle is the same (the protagonist is like the reincarnation of Kyle Hyde I swear xD)

Venant de finir le jeu, c'est un making of très intéressant, je n'aurais jamais pensé que les acteurs originels ressemblaient autant à leurs modèles dans le jeu, les animateurs avaient fait un travail remarquable pour retranscrire les traits des comédiens avec l'élégance de l'animation. Il est bien triste que mes jeux préférés d'une des consoles les plus vendues de ces dernières années n'aient pas trouvés leur public. RIP Cing, vous avez fait de grands jeux, j'aurais tant aimé voir l'aventure de Kyle Kyde se poursuivre :(
