The type of stealth with the "you vs the world, but more difficult than this" sounds like my experience with Sir You Are Being Hunted. That game certainly isn't perfect, and honestly only worth it on sale. but enemies were more intimidating in that game, inventory management was more constrained, and you cant reliably take on more than a few enemies at a time without a lot of planning and traps. There's actually a sense of satisfaction to ambushing a search party with bear traps and the few bullets you have. However that game does suffer from lack of cohesion and more shallow mechanics.

I have a vague impression minimme will derive SOME kind of enjoyment out of Salvation's accompanying game though. It's fairly visually impressive for the time. It plays itself almost on rails. I clicked off of their video like five minutes in because Terminator has never interested me. Now, watching this review, I see why it was deemed worthy of covering-- sure, it's a tie in game, but there's enough there that it's at least respectable on its own merits. Nah, but it does show the difference between the two. If you go to a critic, you're going to a formal, editorial review. If you find someone on KZbin who you align with, you're getting more of an informal, subjective take. 59% aggregate (~6/10) to me honestly feels roughly in line with what I've heard from my favourite content creators -- a 6/10 is still a good game, it's just not for everyone.

Maybe they patched the game since your review or maybe i just suck, but i found the Terminators quite scary when playing on hard mode as it would only take one or two of them to kill me within seconds of getting spotted and send me back as much as 10 minutes to the last checkpoint. Sneaking past them was a genuinely nerve-wracking experience for me. EDIT: Yeah, turns out it got a patch that improved the AI and rebalanced the difficulty a couple months after this video was posted. No wonder my experience has been completely different from what I've been reading in reviews.

Delta Force 2 was pretty awesome, not played it in years or hunted it down though so not sure how easy it is to find now. Bearing in mind when it came out it's very impressive though, with massive (almost infinite) draw distances thanks to being voxel-based rather than pixel-based.. This also adds a lot of jank to the graphics, but at the time was a tradeoff I much preferred. For example, if you lie in grass, the grass isn't just a sprite that disappears at a distance, someone looking at you from across the map would also see the grass. Weird example but one of the things that made my immersion in the game and its multiplayer really good
